Algunes bibliografies poden calcular fins a 1000 \u00b5g d\u2019equivalents diaris, per\u00f2 en qualsevol cas hi ha un cert consens en qu\u00e8 no hem de passar de 3000 \u00b5g diaris.<br \/>\nPer\u00f2 qu\u00e8 \u00e9s aix\u00f2 de \u00ab\u00b5g\u00a0d\u2019equivalents diaris\u00bb? Quins aliments has de menjar per a no tenir problemes? \u00c9s necessari que prenguis vitamina A extra? Tamb\u00e9 hi ha mol\u00e8cules a la naturalesa, els carotenoides, que s\u00f3n propis de les plantes i que, sense tenir activitat de vitamines per si mateixes, poden metabolitzar-se en el nostre cos a alguna de les formes de vitamina A. Per aquesta ra\u00f3 els carotenoides tamb\u00e9 s\u00f3n anomenats provitamina A. El m\u00e9s fam\u00f3s dels carotenoides amb activitat provitamina A \u00e9s\u00a0el beta-carot\u00e8, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 existeixen l\u2019alfa-carot\u00e8, beta-criptoxant\u00e8, gamma-carot\u00e8 o beta-zeacarot\u00e8. Altres carotenoides com el licop\u00e8, la lute\u00efna o la zeaxantina tenen la seva utilitat per\u00f2 no s\u00f3n font de vitamina A.<\/p>\n<p>El problema \u00e9s que no totes les mol\u00e8cules es processen de la mateixa manera: el retinol i similars s\u2019absorbeixen i emmagatzemen amb relativa facilitat, per\u00f2 els carotenoides han de ser extrets d\u2019una matriu vegetal, absorbits i metabolitzats a retinol (canvia la biodisponibilitat de les mol\u00e8cules). Encara que aquest proc\u00e9s \u00e9s variable de persona a persona i d\u2019aliment en aliment, s\u2019admet la seg\u00fcent equival\u00e8ncia a l\u2019hora de \u00abcomptar\u00bb la vitamina:<br \/>\n1 microgram d\u2019equivalent de retinol = 1 microgram de retinol = 6 \u00b5g de beta-carotens = 12 \u00b5g d\u2019altres carotenoides.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"quanta-vitamina-a-necessitem-per-dia\"><\/span>Quanta vitamina A necessitem per dia?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Dep\u00e8n de factors com a edat, sexe, i estat fisiol\u00f2gic, per\u00f2 segons l\u2019EFSA\u00a0els valors de vitamina A necessaris que cobreixen les necessitats de gaireb\u00e9 tots els habitants d\u2019una poblaci\u00f3 sana s\u00f3n els seg\u00fcents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nens: entre 250-400 \u00b5g de ER\u00a0diaris. A mesura que passen els anys les necessitats van pujant.<\/li>\n<li>Adolescents:\u00a0als 11 anys\u00a0ja requereixen 600 \u00b5g de ER\u00a0diaris, i s\u2019acosten amb els anys a les necessitats dels adults.<\/li>\n<li>Adults: per a les dones es recomanen 650 \u00b5g de ER\u00a0diaris, i per als homes 700.<\/li>\n<li>Embar\u00e0s: pugen una miqueta els requeriments a 750 \u00b5g de ER\u00a0diaris.<\/li>\n<li>Lact\u00e0ncia: el r\u00e8cord, 1300 \u00b5g de ER\u00a0diaris.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecoceutics.com\/ca\/respostes-de-salut\/vitamines\/la-vitamina-a-la-vitamina-mes-versatil\/\">falta de vitamina A<\/a> pot resultar en problemes de salut que revisem en aquest article.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"prenem-la-vitamina-a-que-necessitem\"><\/span>Prenem la vitamina A que necessitem?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Segons l\u2019Enquesta Nacional d\u2019Ingesta Diet\u00e8tica de l\u2019any 2011 la poblaci\u00f3 espanyola no estava ingerint tota la vitamina A necess\u00e0ria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>els homes consumeixen al voltant del 70% de la quantitat di\u00e0ria recomanada en aquest estudi.<\/li>\n<li>les dones consumeixen al voltant del 90% de la quantitat di\u00e0ria recomanada en aquest estudi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aix\u00f2 podria estar associat a un consum deficitari d\u2019aliments rics en aquesta vitamina. M\u00e9s recentment, l\u2019any 2017, l\u2019estudi\u00a0ANIBES\u00a0de la Fundaci\u00f3 Espanyola de Nutrici\u00f3 sembla confirmar un allunyament dels est\u00e0ndards de la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia en la poblaci\u00f3 espanyola. Aquest resultat semblaria estar alineat amb els resultats de l\u2019Enquesta Nacional.<br \/>\nTingues en compte que aquestes dades s\u00f3n dades poblacionals, que no tenen per qu\u00e8 aplicar-se directament a la teva realitat i a la teva dieta.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"quins-aliments-son-rics-en-vitamina-a\"><\/span>Quins aliments s\u00f3n rics en vitamina A?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Els aliments vegetals s\u00f3n rics en beta-carot\u00e8 i altres carotenoides. Alguns dels aliments m\u00e9s rics en carotenoides s\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pastanagues (1860 \u00b5g de ER\/100gramos)<\/li>\n<li>Carabasses (1156 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams)<\/li>\n<li>Melons (268 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams)<\/li>\n<li>Espinacs (932 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams)<\/li>\n<li>Pebrots (374 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Els carotenoides s\u00f3n de color vermell-ataronjat i donen aquest color a l\u2019aliment, per\u00f2 en el cas dels espinacs el verd de la clorofil\u00b7la \u00e9s molt m\u00e9s intens i \u00abtapa\u00bb el tint ataronjat de la\u00a0provitamina\u00a0A.<br \/>\nEls aliments d\u2019origen animal s\u00f3n m\u00e9s rics en\u00a0retinil\u00a0\u00e8sters, ja que \u00e9s la forma en la qual els teixits animals emmagatzemen la vitamina A. Entre els aliments d\u2019origen animal m\u00e9s rics en vitamina A trobem:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fetge de vedella (7745 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams)<\/li>\n<li>Oli de fetge de bacall\u00e0 (30000 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams)<\/li>\n<li>Ous (180 \u00b5g de ER\/unitat)<\/li>\n<li>Llet. Les quantitats s\u00f3n molt variables segons la marca, el contingut final de greix, o que s\u2019hagi afegit vitamina A o no extra a l\u2019aliment. Sol estar entre els 50-150 \u00b5g de ER\/100 grams, per\u00f2 la declaraci\u00f3 nutricional en l\u2019etiqueta et donar\u00e0 la informaci\u00f3 exacta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"es-necessari-prendre-vitamina-a-extra\"><\/span>\u00c9s necessari prendre vitamina A extra?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>En principi, si la teva dieta inclou aliments rics en vitamina A i no tens cap altre problema de salut, la suplementaci\u00f3 extra no \u00e9s necess\u00e0ria. Si veus que menges pocs aliments rics en vitamina A pots utilitzar un\u00a0multivitam\u00ednic\u00a0o un complement amb vitamina A que t\u2019ajudi a arribar a la quantitat di\u00e0ria recomanada, per\u00f2 nom\u00e9s puntualment fins que regularitzis la dieta. Algunes patologies justifiquen el consum de vitamina A extra, com certs problemes oculars o problemes de\u00a0malabsorci\u00f3\u00a0d\u2019aliments, per\u00f2 aix\u00f2 requereix seguiment m\u00e8dic.<\/p>\n<p>No \u00e9s convenient utilitzar dosis massa altes durant temps llargs, ja que s\u2019han reportat s\u00edmptomes de sobredosis. El consum de dosis altes sostingudes en el temps sense necessitat real pot portar a problemes de pell, problemes ossis, problemes hep\u00e0tics, i fins i tot n\u00e0usees i v\u00f2mits; la majoria d\u2019aquests problemes solen remetre en parar la suplementaci\u00f3, per\u00f2 uns altres, com els hep\u00e0tics i ossis, poden arribar a ser irreversibles.<\/p>\n<p>Una curiositat dels complements \u00e9s que moltes marques mesuren encara la seva quantitat de vitamina A en \u00abUnitats Internacionals\u00bb (UI, o IU si l\u2019etiqueta est\u00e0 en angl\u00e8s). Aquesta \u00e9s la unitat que s\u2019utilitzava antigament per a mesurar la quantitat de vitamines d\u2019un preparat, i est\u00e0 relacionada amb l\u2019activitat biol\u00f2gica que presenta la vitamina en aquest preparat. La conversi\u00f3 dep\u00e8n una mica de la mena de vitamina A que hi hagi en el preparat, per la qual cosa \u00e9s convenient buscar en l\u2019etiqueta o en la fitxa t\u00e8cnica del preparat quants mil\u00b7ligrams d\u2019equivalents de retinol aporta realment.<\/p>\n<p>Si creus que la teva dieta no cobreix les teves necessitats di\u00e0ries de vitamina A, parla amb el teu metge o amb el teu farmac\u00e8utic de confian\u00e7a.
